Frequently asked questions
How do I start participating in the Facilitator Online School Program?
Signing up for the Facilitator Online School Program is easy. Just fill out the online form (accessible by clicking the 'Book Your Class" button above) to book your slot. Once you've submitted the form, our team will contact you within 2 business days to get you started.
How does it work?
Getting your class signed up and learning online is easy with these simple steps:
Book Your Class Time: Complete our online form to reserve your class slot.
Confirm and Pay: Once you receive confirmation of your class time, pay for each registered student here.
Set Up Your Account: After payment is received, a week before the class start date, you'll get an email to set up your 'Facilitator' account.
Prepare: Login, watch the instructional videos for both Facilitators and Students, and explore your dashboard to familiarize yourself with the platform.
Start Facilitating: On the first day of class, our team will manually enroll your students. They will receive an email to log in, create a password, and access the Student instructional videos and course materials.
Is the fee for the course all-inclusive?
Our fee includes a downloadable PDF of the course study guide. If students prefer a hard copy, they can purchase it directly from Elijah House for $99 (they must be on the student list you provide). Required reading books are not included and must be purchased separately.
Can I add late enrollees to my course?
Absolutely! If a student needs to join late, simply send their information to onlineschool@elijahhouse.org. Our administrators will handle the enrollment process for you once their tuition payment is received. This way, your students can seamlessly join the course without any hassle.
Do I hold my small groups through the platform?
While our platform supports many aspects of your course, small group sessions are held through your own Zoom account. You'll notify your students of the Zoom link through our system. Don't worry, we've got you covered with a full tutorial on how to do this upon login, ensuring a smooth experience for both you and your students.
I often use helpers to correct homework. Can the online school accomodate this?
You and your helpers will log into the same account using the same username and password. You'll need to coordinate which students' homework each of you will correct.
Do I have to move all my Elijah House courses online now?
Not at all! You can continue conducting your courses in person at a physical site. We emailed new tuition and book prices for in-person courses to facilitators in May. If you didn't receive this email, please contact us at onlineschool@elijahhouse.org.
Who will I be facilitating?
Each Facilitator will source their own students to join their online courses.
What tools are available for me to connect effectively with my students?
Stay connected with every student, anytime. Our online platform’s messaging system is designed to empower you to reach out directly and effortlessly, ensuring no student feels left behind.
What steps should I take if I face technical challenges?
We’re here to help. Email us at onlineschool@elijahhouse.org, and our dedicated support team will quickly guide you back on track, ensuring your facilitating experience is seamless and stress-free.
How can I ensure everything is set up correctly before my first class?
A week before your start date, our team at Elijah House will ensure your account is set up. You'll receive an email invitation to log into our platform, where you can explore tutorials and resources, preparing you to inspire and lead your students effectively from day one.
Can I explore your online platform before I sign up my first class?
While we don’t offer a traditional demo, you'll gain exclusive access to our platform a week before your class starts. This early access allows you to dive into our extensive range of tutorials, enabling you to become familiar with our tools and fully prepared to engage your students.
What is Elijah House's policy for Facilitators offering its courses online?
Our new policy designating Elijah House as the sole provider of online courses via the School of Heart Healing platform takes effect on January 1, 2025. This transition period will allow facilitators ample time to adapt and implement the new platform into their schools.
